We are proud to announce the release of our first iPad application: “My Bed Time Story”.
This book, written by Giovanna Biagioni and beautifully illustrated by McAteer is inspired by the personalised books we had as kids — you can enter your child's name, and they become part of the story

MadPilot's time tracking application: 88 Miles has had a makeover!
We have just pushed a major release out, which cleans up the User Interface, improves API support and squashes a number of bugs.
88 Miles also has a twitter account: @88_miles which I would recommend following if you are a user, as we will be posting up-to-the-minute news there.

Unexpected Outage

Half of out hosting servers are experiencing a temporary network connectivity issue. Our hosting provider is looking in to the problem.
Affects: Email clients, and some web hosting clients
We hope to be back up shortly. We are back up! Apparently it was a DOS attack at our upstream provider
New twotwenty website is live

I'm part of the cooperative working space: twotwenty in Leederville. We are currently embarking on a cooperative marketing campaign, of which the frist part is our new website. Designed by Pascal, we are targeting the local Leederville area.

Rails training in Perth, Western Australia

Brown Beagle Software and MadPilot Productions are running 4-day intensive Ruby on Rails workshops in March.
It is designed to get web developers who work in PHP, or .Net up-to-speed in Rails in about four classes. We will cover Ruby, Rails and unit testing as well as deployment.
There are two streams: Monday 1st-22nd March 2010 and Thursday 4th-25th March 2010. Cost is $220.
We willl be sharing some of our home-grown hints and tips that we have mastered over the past 4–5 years working in Rails.
